Delta Runs Over Olivet JVs 117-99

Delta Pioneers scored early and often as they posted a decisive 117-99 win over Olivet College JVs in the Pioneer Gym on Wednesday, November 14th. Failing to connect from outside the 3 point line (1 for 13), Delta made up for its inability to score deep by knocking down 50 two point baskets while holding their opponents to just 17 from three point range and 17 from inside the arc. Jackarus Smith and Goliath Mitchell led the Pioneer attack with 22 points each. Mitchell also turned in a double/double with 10 assists to his credit. Adding to Delta's attack, were Peyton Miller with 21 points on 9 for 9 shooting from the floor. Evan Anderson and Torandis Mack contributed 12 and 11 points respectively. Delta is now 4-0 on the season and head to Mt. Pleasant, Michigan for a game against Mid Michigan Community College on Saturday, November 17th at 3:00pm at Morey Courts.
